I reckon its almost impossible to make a sound judgement on where teams will finish until the transfer window is shut, Il abstain until then.

was just about to say the exact same. if stones, lukaku and mccarthy went next week like these papers seem to want to happen and we have about £100m to spend it's a totally different team and you may as well rip up the review.

I still don't really know what to expect.

I had high hopes for Deulofeu, but always felt that he needed to hit the ground running. The fact he's already joined the Hamstring Club is a worry.

If he doesn't bring in at least one creative player before the window shuts I'll be very concerned.

Agreed, he needs to be involved this weekend or we can forget him for the opener and probably a few more afterwards.

Good article

Not up our arse and not just basing it on transfers etc.
Reading that has got me remembering
Coleman
Baines
Stones
Jags
McCarthy
Miralas
Barkley
Lukaku
Deulofeu

Apart from the bigger teams everyone else in the league would kill for at least 3 of these players we have 9 of them.
Remember we have quality players we just need a few tweeks here and there and get them playing again

Exactly what i thought. we have some genuine talent in our squad and some good youth players on the fringe. cant wait for this season to start, ironic really because i couldn't wait for last season to end.
