Bobby stays with Belgium. Lucky , lucky git .
Possibly one of the best jobs in international football. All those superb players with no real history to use as a stick to beat you with .
Lucky sod .
Barring complete disaster here they weren't firing him with only two months to get someone in before WC qualifying and only 16 months or whatever to the tournament itself.

Don't really see why that matters with international football. They've got all the time in the world to do their player scouting, bits and bobs before the games start. Got to be able to fire them at some point.

If you want to have any amount of continuity

Why do you want continuity if you’ve just failed at two tournaments? Surely the reason to change managers is to not have continuity.
I understand that, what I'm saying is they may have looked at the situation and said if we throw the continuity we've built away we have less of a chance than if we give Roberto one last go. I disagree, but I think that's what the people running the team would tell you.

Well yeh, I mean they haven’t sacked him so moot point. I think it’s dumb; he’s not shown he can fix the errors he’s made since he took over the job and that team is old now.

I think he's a terrible manager who I wouldn't hire for any job so I guess it's hard for me to say
