I didn't know, till yesterday, that you could get these at Iceland.Tried the chicken bakes. Lovely

Are they a quid? Because you can get four cooked ones for £2 directly from Greggs, so I'm just wondering if there's a financial reason to buy these.
I bought the Chicken bakes for £1:50. Didn't notice how much the sausage rolls were. I should imagine the same
Hmmm. I'd prefer if they were better value but I'll get involved. Always good to have stashed in the house for a rainy day.
Greggs has so much overtook Sayers that it makes me fear for the latter. They got lazy.
No Way on earth have Greggs overtaken them, Sayers is the Poundbakery these days and for the Chilli Pastie alone they are the market leaders, the Traditional, the Steak and the Mince & Onion are also right up there, and at 2 for a quid EVERY day I dont go anywhere else.
The meat and pot pies/pasties are superb cold.

It pains me to say it but Greggs have easily overtook Sayers mate. Easily. And you know how much I loved Sayers.
Compare their flagship products: sausage rolls and chicken pasties/bakes. Go head, go into a Greggs and a Sayers one afternoon and buy one of each and compared directly at lukewarm temperature without any accompanying sauce.
The only are where Sayers is still proficient is the chilli pastie as you say and the caramel doughnuts.
They're no Dawsons though, are they?
