you know what hsd?i used to get a lot more for my originals and my prints 15 years ago! £350 - 450 was not unusual for originals and 40 - 50 for prints.the internet allows people to see many more artists work and so the prices have come down which is good for the public not so good for us.the big problem with this is that on screen you cant see the quality of the work and a person may buy a cheap original and when they recieve it it is crap so they never bother again,along with many galleries going out of business i think the market for original,medium priced originals is shrinking.this is why i sell mainly limited edition prints (top quality prints at reasonable prices)
