B+.

Would be A or A- with Lukaku, Eto'o signings (and even Besic, yes) + Atsu loan + the contracts for Barkley, Coleman, etc. But it's glaringly obvious even in three matches that our old CBs could use some help.

It's only there 3/38th of the way to go, at this point last season we only had three points. COYB! In Roberto Martinez We Trust.

Now the window is closed I can give my grade.

A-

We signed Lukaku, Gaz Baz, Eto'o, Atsu, Besic, Galloway and didnt lose anybody of any note, we didnt bulk it as much as I would have liked, hence the -.

It will be bulked by Gibson, Oviedo and Kone (if he isn't actually dead) returning soon, I think then people will realise we are pretty well covered.

Probably an A so far, I'd say we'll need a busy deadline day with maybe another impressive permanent signing to maintain that though.

As posted above I think it's been a very pleasing window and we've signed Eto'o since then, an inspired move IMO.
All in all (with Barkley & everyone signing new contracts) its an A- from me.

It we'd have made all our signings (rom, eto etc) today (ie last minute) most would've been happy with that and creaming themselves!

Truth is we are slightly more organised now!

Evertonians everywhere would have keeled over with shock if SSN broke us signing £28m Lukaku and Eto'o at 10:58pm.
There'd be none of us left, there'd just be that bloke with his purple dildo at next game at Goodison.

A+

Without a shadow of a doubt.

Smashed our record signing with Lukaku. 6 players in - none of note out. Psycho Besic in and best of all, Eto'o on a free!

B.

We've made some great signings in Lukaku and Eto'o, with a proven favorite in Barry. When you look at the players we've sold in the last year, however, we really haven't spent any more money than we have earned in selling players. That, combined with the TV money, leaves me thinking there's no excuse for us not to do more.

We are lacking the depth needed to compete in four competitions, one being in Europe. A back up for Barkley or someone to rotate was needed, as was another CB. I personally wouldn't have minded another winger either, but loaning Atsu was decent enough. I don't see why we didn't take more advantage of the loan market more this window.

On the plus side, however, our squad quality is better than a year ago. We have also seen the permanent signings of players like Lukaku and Eto'o, which I think reflects a new age and reputation for Everton. Besic and Galloway came in this window as well and show potential.

Decent window... Hard to complain, but we could have done more.

Yes, depth is going to be an issue with Europa league. I hope we do not go the way of Swansea last season.

I'd probably not rate it that high. Only due to the fact we haven't managed to bring in a CB which is probably needed but no doubt about it, it has been fantastic but depth worries me. B.
