They used to control certain parts of town (Liverpool City Centre to you wools...).

Oh and mate, what you saw were emos, completely different thing (if you called them a goth). They were pretty much depressing and emotional and listenEd to stuff like my chemical romance. They are similar to us folk, but they are much worse

Haven't seen a Goth in years. Used to be a 'Goth Corner' in our school were they would stand, drink Monster and listen to heavy metal.

Nothing wrong with going against the mainstream. Yeah they still conform to a dress code, but they had to put up with abuse for it from abominable tossers.
Don't see as many now which is a shame because lots of them were really sound.

Absolutely love goth birds, everything about them screams filth. Unfortunately you don't really see em around liverpool anymore, just loads of emo blerts flouncing around st John's gardens/Victoria monument intermingled with the skateboarders. Shame

Used to be a thing between scalliies and goths which I wholeheartedly took part in, then I found out how fantastically filthy goth birds were in the sack. Too late.
Youth is truly wasted on the young.

This. I once went out with a girl who was a " Weekend Goth " . Wore normal gear for work and no white makeup etc, but when away from work she wore the makeup, had the black hair and was into bands like The Sisters of Mercy, Bahaus etc.
She was sound to start with, but then one night she asked me to " cut " her arms, back, shoulders etc with a blade whilst in the sack, said it was a Goth thing ?.

Needless to say I left rather quickly never to return. Pity as she was very pretty and actually quite sound.
