By bonkers do you mean drink a **** tonne of alcohol, play either in jandals or bare feet, swing to cow corner with little foot movement yet still accumulate a decent amount of runs?

The guy averages around 30 but apparently is one of the best players in the world. I'd take Prior anyday.

he's good fun but prior is a great keeper batsman, very underated, should be given another crack at ODI lower down the order, miles better than the inconsistant kieswetter. i love mccullum though, one of my favourite players when he ticks

That's why he annoys me too, because he doesn't tick enough. One innings I'll never forget is in a T20 against the Aussies, who had Nannes, Tait and Johnson all bowling over 150kph at him, Tait up to 159kph, and he was doing the Dilshan scoop to them, unbelievable balls. Hell of game that one.

ha, i did something similar when i was about 15 playing in an under 18's final. sadly i top edged it into my helmet ha, still top scored batting at number 11 due to a few unnorthodox boundaries
