GOT Fan Survey - Key Findings...

I thought it was a good survey and asked some key questions.

One question, and I might have missed the answer, what’s happening with the results? Will the club see them?

Can be read here...

Well in Andy.

with just under 18% believing that a top four finish and qualification for the Champions League is achievable.
I'm surprised how high this is, I mean as a goal in the next couple of years sure but next season!?

All very good stuff. There's that weird push again about a "Head of Fans Liason" or whatever that seems a massive leap, but flagged that in the Board thread.

6,000 is a bit of a small sample size though, less than a sixth of a match day.

How was the survey promoted this time? Could it have gone as a PM on here or to emails?

20,000 responses again seems a bit low. Surely that's only a fraction of the club's contact network, plus wasn't it pushed in the Echo too?

I mentioned the clubs recent stadium survey which had 20,168 as a comparison. "One of the most important consultations in the Club’s history" had 20,168. They'd have spent a fortune in agency fees to get the views of 20,000, it was an extensive effort, more details here: http://www.evertonfc.com/news/2018/11/30/the-people-project-make-sure-to-have-your-say

Surveys are a world apart from social media polls, or forum online counts etc - they're a different beast. Especially surveys that take nearly 10 minutes to complete. Prior setting up ours, I had a look at the rest of the league and the most engaged fan survey I found was one at Newcastle (1,200 responses) and the best one at Arsenal has been running for 7+ years and did 800.

I assume you're taking the piss at how much we promoted it. You couldn't visit GrandOldTeam without a notification at the top prompting to complete the survey, there was a number of articles, threads, countless social media updates etc.

I actually don't think there will be another fan survey of that type from a Premier League club with as big a sample size as ours.
