You seem to have come through it mate.

Fancy a cuppa ?

I'm good, just bored with the endless threads on how the world of Everton football club has imploded around us, when we are still actually doing pretty well.

We are after all likely to get through to the quarters of the FA cup where there is a more than reasonable chance of a good draw, and we are still in the chase for 4th despite the result yesterday.

Pessimism on here comes with the territory. I'm a bit blasé to be honest. Not sure what people expected really.

In fairness I think this forum is a sea of positivity when compared to the wrist slitting miserable bastards that frequent Toffeeweb :)

You are an Evertonian. What on earth makes you think you have any kind of right to be happy? Did you not read page one of the fan handbook?

You are chosen. You did not choose.
(you hereby give up ANY claim for future happiness, positivity or optimism. This is NOT the Everton way)

Couldn't agree more with this. They are so miserable that when they are done venting their frustration at the club, they start abusing one another. At least there's light-hearted p*ss taking on here...

after a loss i think it comes to this, slits my wrists

We are defensively woeful, our strikers have been ruined by the manager, our midfielders can't pass, we have no pace, our captain is useless, our CB's can't defend, Fellaini is average and played in the wrong position, most of our players are played in the wrong position, most of our players are dreadful, our squad is too small, we play the ball back to our keeper when counter attacking and our keeper is sh*t, Fellaini has been sussed out, Pienaar and Baines have been sussed out, and its all managed by a manager that doesn't know what he's doing, is tactically useless, has no plan B and is too defensive, financed by traitors that own the club and can't negotiate the purchase of any players, but who are supported by fans that are traitors who quietly go about their business making Goodison park a library, and one which is nearly falling down at that. Did I miss anything?
These are just a handfull of the pessamistic (although its been argued realistic) things I have read as peoples opinions on GOT recently, which I feel leaves only one question:
With this in mind and how utterly futile it is bothering to watch the players go onto the pitch, can someone tell me how we are managing to avoid a relegation battle and are still in the hunt for europe?

Because all of the above is a summary of opinions expressed here following rare losses or draws in games we all expected to win.

Just a way of getting diappointment off our chest, really.

Because most of the rest are even worse.
