"Goran would like to remain in Italy because he would gain Italian citizenship next year.

“But if no clubs from our league step forward, we risk losing him. We have offers from foreign leagues, particularly the Bundesliga.”

“It was not a money problem,” explained Pallavicino. “The player simply wants a new experience. Goran has been in Rome for five years and has always behaved himself towards the club."

Not a rumour. To be honest, I know nothing about the guy. How could is he? Strike rate in Serie A is not bad (50/134 or something). Would he be worth looking at? Fit in well with the squad/Yak or Saha up front??

I agree he's a good player, but he can't really play as lone striker in our system and he also can't play as AM or wide midfielder. So he will do good things for somebody, but it won't be us.

4-4-2 with the Yak?? I know we seem to be better in 4-5-1 with a supporting striker but....

If we will buy players with our limited funds, we have to make sure that we are getting 100% out of a players we already have - playing 4-4-2 we are sacrificing Cahill and Fellaini, getting Pandev and changing they way we are playing and what makes us succesfull, isn't worth all of it.

he's a beast on FM, i'd def want him here though, plus if you look at it, of all the major leagues i would think that the serie a is the most comparable to the premier league, i reckon he could do really good
about time we got a striker that a) can score on a regular basis and b) wont get injured.. on a regular basis
