thing is, I normally walk down to Goodison, but as we had a great night out in Liverpool and wanted to be down at the pub as early as possible, we decided to take a cab.

Using the distance from Kirkby to Goodison as detailed by KEIOC, I make it about 29 miles as the crow flies.
