Today's events have made me realise that perhaps life is too serious and forums need not be. So with that I want to say some things on reflection of today.
@Cal - Ok, Beattie did well in the first full season, so I say thanks for that, but largely he has been a let down and it annoys me that he earns big wage and can't cut the mustard.
@Dylan - less said the better eh?
@Danny - Sorry mate, I love your attitude to the game and I would probably enjoy a few pints with you in Port Sunlight or Liverpool, but I can't put up with forum power heads. I think its sad beyond belief, and it didn't need to be like that, but hey ho. I'm going to be at the game against Wigan, and if you fancy a pint I will like to buy you a drink. @Everyone else - Enjoy the season, hopefully it will be a good one, and if anyone wants to meet up for a drink, my email address is up there if anyone fancies one.
Maybe its me and I am a little aggressive, but its only words, and for shakespeare, words without emotion are just scrawls on a piece of parchment. Only when they are met with 3 dimensional beings do they become truly functional.
But, I make no apologies for my posts, I wear the badge on my right arm, I made a committment a long time ago and I always have the clubs interest at heart at all times, not the players, but the club.
(May I also just interject here, Beattie had a pop at Everton, and Moyes in particular when he said he was frozen out. Got to perform to get a game mate)
But I will miss the banter, SuitsBlue, MickNick, Chico. I will miss the common sense posts by Latch and Bruce Wayne (no offence to anyone else, but I feel those two are not as colourful as the rest and they added that dimension), Axl, Teppic, Rob, Daz, Zero, Fernandes, Welton, Blue Wiz, Lee, Canada, Sim, anyone else I have forgotten I'm sorry.
To the other American's I'm not sure if your with Dylan or not, but I felt my whole anti-Bush post a while ago may well have been the spark that caused this, so I apologise if you were offended, but I don't take back my opinions. If your not with Dylan and anti-GOD, then fair enough, I add you to the list.
To all the new one's who don't know me, don't worry.
This isn't the first time I have signed off because moderators have been too sensitive in their actions, so it may come as no suprise to some, but you may also recall that I left TW for a whole year before I came back and started posting again. So this is for real. I want to speak in an arena where my opinion is taken for its context and not just its content. We are all adults we all swear, we all take the lords name in vain, so we are all guilty of using colourful language to make a point, and in essence the reason why I am leaving is because I was banned because I used colourful language about a player who didn't cut the mustard.
But this is it. I've had enough, and I'm sure two of you will be glad I have gone, well I will carry on with life without a thought for you, but as for the rest I hope to maintain a relationship. My email address is their at the top of the thread somewhere, make a note drop me a line and maybe we can operate on a different level sometime in the future.
