Head is a bit melted over the expectation of a last minute loan (my own fault) but in all a very good window in my opinion.

Two players for the future, one for the now.

Despite being one of only five clubs on the entire continent to purchase a player for over £10m?

This wasn't FIFA and you wasn't pressing X waiting on bids there, it was real life.

Yeah and in real life we've got one of the worst defences in the league with one of the worst keepers behind it. So we go out and spend 13.5 mill on a striker who is more than likely going to be shoehorned onto the left wing or sat on the bench. Meanwhile we have Mirallas and Lennon kicking their heels on there anyway. I'm not saying Niasse isn't a good player, he needs a season in the royal blue to settle in, but is he really what we needed to improve? Scoring goals isn't our problem.

Sorry lad. Won't be sticking my neck out on the forum again anytime soon.
Fair enough. Just intrigued to know. Would it have been a decent first teamer?

Like others have said, can't complain with what we got but an extra new face would've been good!

I dunno I feel I could have got a better quality and saved on my energy bills if I'd have gone to Safestyle, plus their lifetime warranty is very competitive in today's window market.

At what point did you stick your neck out? You never said a name just there might be a deal... You said in the other thread you didn't wanna ruin your rep but I think you have by not use saying the name. You basically got a lot of ppl excited for nothing.

Decent window, still need a GK

Why say Niasse is a striker then make up a hypothetical situation where he's stuck on the wing forever?

Worst defence with Baines, Jagielka, Stones, Mori and Coleman in it. That's three English internationals, an Argentinian international and an Irish international. You should have seen Carl Tiler and Paul Holmes play.
