Am I the only one who feels weird about only having 3 center backs?

I know Browning and Galloway are both supposed to be CB's, some day, but neither of them are there yet.
Especially since Browning out for the season.

Worries me too although not seen anyone move that would have wanted to spent money on - would prefer to give Holgate/Pennington a run out rather than Caulker for example.

Aye. Holgate, Pennington, Foulds, Galloway, Besic and Barry are all options... none are ideal to be playing as a first choice CB during an injury but at least we know it wouldn't have to be Hibbo.

Tarashij is the interesting one for me.
The fact we moved for him instantly knowing he had to remain in Switzerland shows we rate him. Having won the young player award tonight is promising too, especially with Embolo still in that league.

Niasse I have no idea on but hopefully he will add something positive.

Foulds for the youth will hopefully progress.

Sad to see Naismith leave as he was a real ambassador but his age combined with lack of action made sense for all.

Mcgeady was sadly rubbish so no loss there and saved wages.

A good window.

May have been another reason we kept Gibson as well.

Ya actually, very true.

To be honest though, Gareth Barry hasn't been terrible when he's had to fill in there and Besic has more experience playing centre back at senior level (in foreign leagues) than Stones.

Better off not adding deadwood to the squad when there are so many young centrebacks that we will want to bring though in the coming years. I just hope some of them are of the same mould as Jags and not Mori/Stones. I don't like the idea of having two ball-playing centre backs. The best partnerships always seem to have 1 ball player and 1 no-nonsense type.
