Good films to watch

Gatsby is Directed by Baz Lurhmann, who is basically Gay Michael Bay on Crack.

It will be awful. It will be like being repeatedly raped by Liberace.

Oblivion is good. Sci Fi, suspend your disbelief that its not 'real' for a moment and you'll enjoy it.

Was very good mate, everyone I've spoke to enjoyed it too. There were a few bits I didn't like but overall it was fantastic. The more I reflect on it the more I realise how good it is. Definitely worth checking out and it'd be madness to write off a film such a great actor in before you even see it.

As for Sci Fi I'm a big fan of quite a lot of it, it's just Tom Cruise I'm not a massive fan off really. I did enjoy Minority Report though

If it hasn't already been mentioned then Ted is a must . It's the best film I've seen since Kingpin.

Recent good films I would recommend

Seven psychopaths and Zombieland. They are easy watching and funny.

New trailer out for 2nd Hobbit film

I just watched Wreck It Ralph on the flight back from Rio - it was ace!!!

I,also watched I'll Give It A Year after that, and it was pretty decent.

Saw Star Trek Into Darkness at the weekend.
Much improved from the over-rated first movie. I still don't think Chris Pine is fit to tie Shatner's bootlaces, but there's definitely more philosophical material here to keep grumpy old gits like me happy.

Also rewatched Wrath of Khan too - one of my favourites, and still absolute quality. From Hell's heart I stab at thee!

This film scared the crap out of me as a kid, still worth a watch imo
