Good documentaries

True enough. Realistically and in hindsight, though, the UK was on its knees after ww2 and were sucking up to the US. Still unforgivable.

I remember watching a documentary on Unit 731.

A place where the Japanese was doing experiments on Chinese prisoners, American POW and Russians.

The things they done was unreal, even worse was that the US gave the people responsible immunity for the data from the experiments.

Just watched "Sour Grapes." A fascinating look at the high-end wine afficionados and wine-auctions; this fellow starts to make a splash at high-end wine auctions, driving up the price of wines. It then turns out that he was doing so, so that he could then resell his stock as well as his counterfeit wine. A remarkable story.

Anyone seen anything similar to Cities of the Underworld? He visits buried or built on parts of older civilizations. Doesn't get as much access as I'd like to see and a couple of places needed a lot of illustrations and imagination to see anything worthwhile but that sort of place interests me.

That Planet Earth II is great.

Also a few years go there was a short BBC series narrated by one of the McGann brothers called "Shark", which was also good.

Our hands have got just as much blood if not more than the Americans on them with the hundreds of years thinking we had the right to rule the world. Now us and America don't like it when their is the possibility of a new super power taking over.

America as we know it may be relatively new, but with multiple nuclear bomb drops on major cities, the inciting of wars around the world in order to sell arms and gain oil, and even their starts with the annihilation of native Indian populace, America are far better at killing in great numbers than the UK even with all our history. But killing someone during a war is one thing, what happened to the populace of the Enewetak Atoll is completely different, this was a calculated eradication of a people just for an experiment.

That being said, we did produce Piers Morgan so maybe call it a draw

Enjoyed that, thanks mate. The mad clapping when everyone hit some money was doing my head in though haha.
Yeah it's a bit repetitive with the constant adverts and recaps but interesting all the same. Hard to believe nobody noticed what he was doing right away or how flawed the 'random' machine was.
If you haven't already watched it, or if you get a chance, watch the 'Major Fraud, who wants to be a millionaire'
I guarantee you'll be watching it through your fingers, cringing with embarrassment.
