Sweet. Gonna download that story of film now, cheers Ste. Will come in handy for the film history module I'm doing ATM. Would recommend Martin Scorsese's personal journey through film also for anyone that is interested in film history.

Any NHL fans here? I'm following the Road to the NHL Stadium series currently. It's pretty much exactly the same as the Road to the Winter Classic series they do every year. Awesome stuff and I don't think you really need to be a fan of hockey to get something out of it, this is what they were aiming for with Being Liverpool I think.

The Corporation

Not sure if this has been posted, but just got around to watching this.

It's a few years old now but still very good. It looks at the development of the Mega Corporation (Shell Oil, McDonalds etc.) and all the questionable things they do to make profits (3rd world sweat shops and the like)

There's enough pro-corporate types in there to give it a decent amount of balance as well.

Deffo recommended! ;)

Am I Black Enough For You - short and sweet doc about the singer Billy Paul, his feelings on the two songs that defined his career; 'Me & Mrs Jones and 'Am I Black Enough..' and a bit of insight into Philly soul. Nothing mind blowing but some great tunes and he seems like a very nice fella.
