I think it was Barry Davies who described Reid as the engine and Bracewell as the oil...............

.......great timer of tackles was Peter Reid. He was great in '86 World Cup. Wilkins and Robson became unavailable and they had to call on Reid/Hoddle partnership. All of a sudden we started winning.
