but Felli was a bargain -- .
£15 million pound bargain?
dont think so.
If he doesnt run out his contract, I doubt we will make on him for buying him at such a big price.

And not just a bad run. A player could have five straight fantastic games and then one poor one and the "support" would be all over him about the poor one.
Amazing really.
How would Catterick do in the modern day era? Like it or not, we're not one of the big boys anymore. We're no longer the Merseyside Millionaires, but probably more like the beggars outside a supermarket. Moyes worked wonders with the budget he had, no mistake. Not saying he's untouchable (although it will take a lot more than one bad season to convince me to part with him), but think he deserves a lot more credit than given to him by quite a few on here. Name one manager, who would possible have done better with the budget he has been on. Jol, Redknapp, Mourinho? Honestly think we'd be in the lower divisions right now, if they had to work within the restrictions Moyes had to face at Everton.
He build this club from a relegation scrapping side into a hard working, honest and pretty damned good side. Granted it doesnt look like that atm, but if one bad season makes him a [Poor language removed] manager, than certainly, the past 7 seasons made him a modern day legend? Face it, without major investment, we won't be challenging for silverware. But then again, I'm not sure I'd want to give the Everton I know and love up for that.
Indeed it is, but I'm not gonna pay any of them, just to prove I'm right. ;-)Only one way to find out though isn't there.
Matt Damon is limited in his vocabulary and insults, ya know?
