Probably spend a fair bit of time at Headingly today to be honest, not an awful lot tempting me, zero interest in the Pyramid. Will try and catch Squid, Emma Jane Thackery, Leon Bridges and Skunk Anansie, I hung out with them a couple of times back in the day, lovely folk.

Very soulful , a bit Jazzy , likened to Billie Holliday but I'm not so sure.

Very unusual, distinctive voice but a lot less dark.than Lady Day.

On BBC at 7pm.
