Girl hits cyclist with her car

I'm no expert, but I'd say she's lying her face off in that video. Eyes up to a different direction when she's remembering tweets that upset her, to where her eyes go when she's recalling the incident. Like I said I'm not an expert, but she seems more upset at how she's been made to feel, and I'm not convinced she didn't drive off.

What an idiot, completely insincere apology. In fact there was barely an apology there, she just wants people to forget she had nearly killed someone and then laughed about it.

Also going by her accent it's probably mummy and daddy who pay for her road tax.

Doesn't sound like she's sorry for hitting the cyclist at all, just sorry for getting caught out. Worth pointing out that it wasn't just one tweet she made either, it was a whole host of them after people started calling her out on it.

Sad really. Had a guy earlier in the year that forced half a dozen of us into the hedge to avoid being taken out by him as he flew down a narrow lane. Didn't slow down or anything.

If it was on an organised ride then you'd imagine there would be witnesses aplenty.

I was out on my bike once and it started chucking it down. I was riding down a road that feeds a shopping centre car park and I spotted a car on the other side of the road indicating to turn right into the car park. As I was by the entrance to the car park I noticed that this car was turning into ME. I was already half way off the bike when the car hit. The bike died under the wheels, I was on the pavement facepalm style. The driver got out and said, oh I didnt see you. Let me buy you a new bike, I'll pay to fix it. Then eventually asked if I was alright. I took the drivers details and carried the bike to the repair shop, some 2 miles away which meant me being 3 hours late home in the end. In the bike shop, the guy told me that he sees this a lot and I need to make sure I get my money for the repairs. Sure enough, when I phoned with the invoice details, they started questioning it. So what I did, I cycled over to where they lived, about 11 miles away to prove that the bike was on the road, repairs done, with the invoice. Also, to show that I was alright. They were very begrudging to pay up and I got a cheque which then had to be banked and cleared.

Anyway....

Was the driver of this car a man or a woman??!! (sorry, not my thread, no poll)
