he wasnt going to cry and moan though was he, he has to be positive so that giggs replacement in the side doesnt get all bent out of shape.

he could have just said giggs had been a fantastic servant to welsh football and that he is a role model for lots of youngsters.... but then 64 out of 120 or whatever takes the shine off that gem.

Fair enough Suits you have a point but it wouldn't have hurt him to say that he is an outstanding player and that he wished him well for the rest of his career, how hard would that have been !
I was going to say that it would have been better if he had kept his mouth shut but that would have been even more insulting.

I mean whatever about caps apperaences and that! The lad is a truly a precious talent, like my team Ireland, Wales dont come across them regularly, so instead of criticing we should all be thankfull that we got to admire a special telent wearing our countries coulours ala Roy Keane.
