What is a ghost, Mosthaunted has been trying to 'capture' on camera an apparation and have failed in three series. Is there such a thing as a ghost, I don't know, have anyone seen anything that could be called a ghost, yes I have. Normally speaking this is a topic I would shun as I have no belief in the occult or mysticism but I saw something that I could not rationally explain.
Many years ago I was recovering from an apendix operation in convalescence
unit at Arrowe Park, Woodchurch. Very early one morning, about 2AM, I was making my way from the dormatory to a toilet which was along an upper balcony of an oak panelled hall area. Across the hall was a flight of stairs leading up to the floor I was at, moonlight shone through a long painglass window, it was a warm summers night. I became rooted to the spot because I saw a pillar of mist/gas move up the flight of stairs, across the opposite balcony and disappear through a wall. A nurse found me just as the 'mist' vanished, I explained what I had seen and she had seen the same thing on many occasions. She told me of a rocking chair that moved at will and when it did the smell of sweet violets would fill the air.
I cannot say what I saw was a ghost, if it was it had no form that I could recognise, what else it could have been is beyond me but it did exactly what I described..............make your mind up.:shock:

I only know what I saw, I find Most Haunted hilarious most of the time, especially when they throw stones and ask 'what was that' tossers in more ways than one methinks.

My wife took this photo about six or seven years ago, she had just come back from her friends house and it had started snowing, she got the camera out and took a load of photos, the spooky part is there was nothing on the other photos.
When she got the photos back from the chemist we could not believe what we were looking at, my first impression was that she must have been smoking at the time she took it because it looks like cigarette smoke but she swears on the kids life's that she wasn't.
I trust my wife that she is telling the truth, so what could it be ?
