Looks the biz except for this....

What is the point then??? I imagine multitasking is disabled to allow it act snappy. Start multitasking and now it loses that Appleness...... personally I would wait until the iPad 3GS comes out

Trust me on the Apple forums they're heralding this as the iFail. There are a few nutty fanboys getting overly aggressive trying to defend the product, without addressing anyones issues or complaints about the device
The lack of camera, the crippled 16gig storage on the entry level model, and last but not least the lack of multi tasking, is just shocking! Bearing in mind the device is totally tied down like the iPhone, which means you can't download files and unrar them (yes i do dodgy downloading stuff, who doesn't). I just don't see the point of this device. It's an iPod touch with a big screen.
The only people I know who only use one app at a time on their computers are either over 60, no change that over 80, or they're computer illiterate and have only been tapping away on one for less than a month.

It has a file system, so there's some hope! But the lack of cam, and the lack of multi tasking is just too much for me. that dreadful keyboard that was clearly designed by someone who can't touch type, ugh!

Well once you start to touch type you will learn it pretty quickly.
The guy who designed apple products is a genius, and he's British.
I do touch type, about 80wpm.......... Hence my point

It's absolutely ridiculous.
It's a big iPod touch. And a 64gb one is the same price as my PC, which is miles better. (can't carry it around, but thats what my regular iPod is for, and also why would I carry a ******* tablet pc around with me anyway lol)
