I normally get the train from Kirkdale station (about 10mins from Goodison) to Liverpool Central. It takes about 15mins. But then you have to walk around the corner past the Adelphi and up the road to Lime Street, which normally takes about 5mins, so you may be hard pushed to get there by 5:30. Its a bit hit and miss.

Another option is getting a taxi, but thats a bit hit and miss as well.

are there no later trains then?

Unanimous. Taxi mate.

you can't knock £5 for a taxi.

That wouldnt get you down the road in Middle England.

InnerCity knows exactly what you need.

One way ticket to the Blue Extravaganza, it's like the Polar Express but with less excitement and the pies are well expensive.

Who was that fella who came on here exposing him as 'Bryan' from Milton Keynes, the train obsessive??

that was a superb 'kecks pulled down' moment. he hasn't shown his face since.

Spoil sport.
