Right, bit confused here...

I'm from Brighton down south and go to around 6-8 aways a year, usually London's, but hardly any homes as I live about 6 hours away.

I usually get my tickets through spares and kind Evertonians on here or twitter ;) but next season I want to try and build up points and credits with the tickets, so i can go to Wembley or round Europe (if we get there).

What's the best route?

I have two customer numbers from tickets in the past, and was thinking of becoming a member next season as obviously there's no point in getting a season ticket living six hours away.

Will I get the tickets I want with the membership?

Thanks guys

COYB!!

You can buy league tickets any time as we very rarely sell out, any games I wanna go I just go to ticket office or buy them off evertonfc, as long as you no your customer number your fine. That's for home games, no idea on away games

You are better getting a foreverton membership as this allows you to purchase home tickets a few days before they go on general. No real benefit for away games as they normally sell out to st with stubs etc... You would be best joining the local supporters club as you might have a better chance of away tickets through that and as long as you give your Everton number you will still get the credit

Pretty impossible to get tickets through the club without a season ticket, so I'm not really sure how you can build it up because this year hardly any aways have gone down to general sale

As above, you won't be able to build up an "away credit history" without a season ticket. You can go to the home games, and a ForEverton membership will give you priority to get to the front of the queue for the big home games etc. Having that membership will also help you get a Semi Final ticket for Wembley if we were to get there, providing you have about 5 or 6+ home games on it.

But as I said, you have no chance of getting to the aways unless it's a mid week game somewhere like Newcastle, Norwich or Sunderland. You also wouldn't get to the Cup Final without a season ticket and just having a ForEverton membership.

Buy, or get someone to buy for you, a season ticket, use it for a few homes and sell the rest on Stubhub. Then buy your aways on the same cust # and you'll be fairly high up on the pecking order.

Agree with all the posts here

Aways are hard enough to get tickets to if you've got a season ticket a lot of the time, practically no chance with just a membership

Best way to do it would be to join a supporters club who get an away match allocation from the club. ESCLA, if it's still going, might be your best bet as it's the biggest one in the South East (or was, when I lived down there).

Your best bet is to join escla ( everton supporters club London area)
You beat me to it.
I have a few friends who are ESCLA members and have travelled with them on past European trips.
Well organized and departures with London based fans in mind be it Stansted. Gatwick or Heathrow.

europe shouldnt be a problem for you living down south cheaper to get anywhere in europe and europa cup games never sell out.go in home end or more often than not they will let you in our end.

Chances of a foreign steward letting you into a sold out Everton end are minimal in my opinion.

If you are flush you could buy a season ticket ( sell games piecemeal on stubhub to recoup the outlay ) add that to your 6-7 away games and your foreverton number and see what that does in the grand scheme of things. As far as the powers that be would know you've been to every home game 7 away games... got to be up near the front of the cue

With a season ticket how does it work? Do you get the individual tickets or is it on a plastic card?

Thanks for all your replies guys, will join the supporters club for sure!

If I went down the season ticket route, would the home game tickets sell easily on stub hub?

Thanks again!!

they would sell easily enough i think - the values would differ hugely depending on what game it was though...
