Reidy's Bottle Of Grecian

The Unobstructed View
i really think the lad needs more encouragement from the crowd, how many times has the crowd risen when he's on the ball? how many times has his name been sang from the stands?

the 15m tag , moving to a country where you dont speak the language at a young age, for all we know the lad couldve been still living at home with his mum before he came to us, moving abroad can be difficult for people who have done it many times let alone basically a boy, albeit a big boy.

we need to get behind him more if we are gonna get the best from him, he was adored at liege and i reckon he needs to feel something from us. i think he will go on to be a great player for us if he's made to feel more at home.

the price tag is gone, what we paid is what we paid, whether or not we think it was the right price doesn't come into it now because we need the lad to do the business and we should encourage him as much as possible. so lets get behind him and see if he starts to enjoy himself on the field and make the headlines. you never know if it works with him then maybe we could let the rest of the lads feel the love as well.

Jesus christ mate, take your blue tinted glasses off.

He was not immense today.

Very, very, average.

Mate you need to give up the acid, He is anabsolute immense player a true bos to box midfeilder at 20 hes already bossing the midfeild its a long time since ive seen any Everton player as well rounded as this lad. Hes going to be something very special.

Your both going over the top. He had a decent game, he was far from average and he wasn't immense either.

He's getting better though, no question about it.

Hes a good player, and will be great in the future. Yes hes over-priced, but in a couple of years im sure we will all be thinking "bargain". Hes a wonderkid - Football Manager says so - NEVER disagree with Football Manager.

Im not going over the top mate, im not saying he is going to revolutionise football at 20, but clearly he is a world class midfeilder in the making. Anyone who knows anything about football would tell you how well rounded his game is at 20, its nothing short of immense as his impact on the game.

Hes third in line for MOM for me today behind Lescott, and Neville.

Honestly mate. I feel embarassed by your posts. I'm all for opinions, but to say he bossed the midfield is embarrassing.

I thought he had a tidy game, nothing more nothing less.

World class I'm not so sure. I think he could be close but I'm not too sure yet. You see the likes of Anderson at Man utd and Fabregas and they are potentially world class players. They boss games on the floor and dictate.

With Fellaini I'm not so sure. He's a handful but I don't see the technical tools there to boss games. He'd tidy on the ball and a decent footballer but nothing more. He's not a Steven Gerrard or an Essien for example. He doesn't have that mixture of athletisism, power and skill.

I'm very happy with him but I'm not going to go over the top. He's progressing nicely but it's far to early to be saying he's going to be world class. World class is a word banded around far too much for me. Lets just see how he develops, up to now he's getting better and better.

Maybe your right mate! Im convinced theres an awfull lot to come but im excited about what im seeing from a 20 year old, and ill stick my neck out and say i beleive he can be world class. I think Moyes has told him to play it simple retain poscession etc, some of his searching balls in his early games i beleive he has a better range of passing then we are currently seeing.

Whats improved drasticly is his movement, his positioning and his ability to view the game as a whole. In terms of how successfull he can be with us and how god he can be with us i think it very much depends on who comes through or who we bring in to play with him, someone need to be brought in to compliment him, how he played box to box mate warmed the cockels,i havnt seen a box to box midfeilder play for us in years.

There is definatly alot more to come from him and I have no doubts he'll make it here. He's certainly not as bad as Calisha makes out every week.

Up to now I'm liking what I'm seeing, he's doing well.
