The other thing - that I find from watching this programme...

IS THE AMOUNT OF CONTEXT HE'S (PILGER) PUTTING ALL THESE PREVIOUS WARS IN....

However....

* He's failing to address that the US was fighting back against a surprise attack
* The culture during WWI, WWII and during the Cold War
* That there was a 50 year cold war (a strategic war) against the Soviets, where the West was fighting for its survival daily
* 9/11 and 7/7 and Bali and all the other mass casualty crimes committed. Also all the African embassy bombings the first Trade Centre Bombings and the Luxor Massacre amongst various others.

Also he's guilty of doing what he's accusing the politicians of... using CONTEXT to try and SPIN his own agenda.

Because he's only showing CONTEXT HE WANT'S YOU TO SEE. Just like the politicians.

Now I'm not saying he's not making some legitimate points. However the premise of his arguments is flawed.

As Al Qida is fundamentally wishing to DESTROY the west. And to impose Islam globally.
