Get in you blues

in fairness to philw I've not seen many people on this thread supporting your view that :

...carling cup is a poxy banana republic cup.

or on our current europe successes;

"...we are everton, the uefa cup isnt good enough, like the carling/coca cola/milk/league cup - it is so distant it is an excuse."

in that respect he speaks ostensibly for the majority of us.

Remember when you reply to defend your position with every inch of your life, rather than take back some ill judged words - you decide.

I'll admit I've gone to far, regards character assassination of you suits. Just get a little emotional when I feel my beloved blues are getting criticised at what is a ridiculously good time to be a blue.

Can you swallow your pride also?

im going to be as nice as i can...

i shall trawl this thread and consider my response, as not just you have been guilty for what you have now called ''character assassination''.

just because i choose not to get carried away on the current wave of relative success and choose to stay grounded and look to the next set of games and where i believe our sides focus should be - that shouldnt lead to some sort of vindictive agenda shared between few or more individuals on this board because my view doesnt fall into line with some perceived group mentality.

the above back handed half apology for what i consider your undue criticism of me because you have decided that i was criticising your ''beloved blues'' at a time in your opinion that is ''a ridiculously good time to be a blue.''

like i said above, i'll have a re-read as it appears this topic has struck a nerve.

thanks for being as nice as you can.

I am sorry if I offended you, but quite frankly I find your attitude at this pivotal stage of our development, not only disappointing but a little embarrassing. We've not lost in twelve games and we've won something like 9 or 10 of them. We didn't deserve to lose the match before that.

Honestly, I don't know what to say. Perhaps to avoid confrontation, we should just avoid responding to each others posts.

I prefer a solution, as its obvious you won't re-evaluate your position.

i appreciate the civility of your posts.

we have won ten from (the last) twelve.

as for the current situation, regards confrontation, it takes two to tango - i am only to aware of my at times somewhat spiky posting style.

(peter kay is on parkinson right now)

as for the obviousness of my position, i have said earlier that i intend on rereading the thread - i havnt done it in the last ten minutes - i will do it when i get round to it. not before.

quoting you isnt speaking for you.

are you really so intent on pursuing me like this, because if you are, say so and lets have you.

Are you threatening me now? All i want is for you to actually answer the questions i posed, and to consider someone elses opinion, or the fact that your own might be unjustifiable or wrong. I wouldn't need to pursue you if you didn't keep running away.
