It has absolutely nothing to do with kopites.

It is also not classless to direspect "any" death either.

For me the city comes before football, always has to. The question then should be is it Ok for the city to boo the anthem etc.

We are not "better than that." We are a group of people all with different opinions and beliefs. It's mad to think that merely supporting a football club makes everybody the same.

In this digital age all churches should have put screens up inside. Then those that truly wanted to pay their respects could have done so there and leave sport out of it.

How do you come to that conclusion mate? I have total respect for those who oppose the monarchy, if that's their view and they hold it respectfully.

I have far less respect for those who oppose the monarchy and resort to petty insults against those who don't, just because they dont.

I don't have to be for or against the monarchy to hold that view.

Well that's it. If I disagree with someone I try to "educate" them rather than shout at them (I realize that can sound sanctimonious and agressive in it's own way).

I must admit I don't get these people saying that they are tolerant of other opinons though. I mean obviously not, otherwise why argue about it? People are too wishy washy in what they beleive in.

...and I don't like the first rule of fascism, which is to silence the opposition, which has been going on all week since that parasitic old woman died. Can you give another explanation of what has been happening since she died if it's not the best pr business in the world, even better than north korea or china, achieving it's aim of brainwashing millions of people into behaving like they have been?

As I said, I was interested in seeing more info. Would have liked something a little more extensive, but it was certainly interesting.

Not sure it is dramatically surprising though. “Woman born in 20’s leans Conservative” isn’t exactly headline news

I think you’d be surprised how many value their privacy and autonomy above material possessions… but you could be right.… Mind you I didn’t say my view on that was universal.
