Never heard anything more inbred than the Scouse not English shout, appalling behaviour from a few dregs, I really wan't to blame the Russians for this one.

I have never heard a blue say that ever, or any RS over 50 for that matter.
Mostly soft gets online trying to out scouse each other .
It's like the way they manage to shoehorn YNWA I to everything,

They had a massive banner at analfield saying exactly that. Ran the length of the stand.1663533709980.webp

It's about respect.
You should respect someone has died, and even if you had a view on them just keep it yourself keep quite It's not hard.
It's about respect for the club who will get the stick for any bad publicity.
It about respect for your fellow fans who might want to show it even if you dont.
would you start to boo outside a church if someone you disliked died , because you would look a right knob.
Why do it at a ground in front of the national TV/press?
In modern life there is always somebody trying to be the odd one out, look at me ect.
It doesn't make you a bootlicker to have some manners and self respect.

Also sat for the 70th minute applause and all round us stood and clapped.

No issues, no words said. People respected each others choices. We got 3 points, move on.

It goes back to the 1950's when the lads from Dublin Peter Farrell, Tommy Eglinton, Tommy Clinton and Corks Don Donovan played for us.

The rs wouldn't sign anyone from southern Ireland until they signed Ronnie Whelan in 1979. You could argue that Steve Heighway counts as being from southern Ireland alright, but he actually grew up in England.

I know mate, my grandad was from Dundalk and father in laws family from Tipperary, so im well aware it was a “thing” back in the day,..but easily more Irish support the RS than over us nowadays… and, while we’re at it, way more Celtic fans support them as their “2nd team” too.
