Would have to agree with you but the silence lasted less than 30 secs think ref blew because of some isolated shouts and others hushing, EFC crowd virtually silent during the anthem though W Ham fans had a half hearted go at singing it and a half hearted response from all to the clap ( I know what I just did so no stupid comments. I am a Republican but stayed silent for what 25 secs ? so I did my part hopefully we get back to normality Tuesday, I must say I think Charles and Camilla after all this has died down will not get an easy ride from the media.

Too bad about the few cretins who couldn't behave themselves.
It seems basic etiquette and common decency is beyond some people, but i think the vast majority of fans were a credit to this great club today, as a great lady was given a fitting send off.

Not nice mate. It’s just common courtesy to stay quiet at the end of the day, she’s still someone’s mother, Nan etc. I have no problem with people hating the royals and all they stand for, but being quiet for a minute isn’t hard.
It's not really about if your a royalist or not, myself didn't mind the Queen, but wouldn't lose any sleep if I went to bed and we were a republic,in the morning .
It's about respect.
You should respect someone has died, and even if you had a view on them just keep it yourself keep quite It's not hard.
It's about respect for the club who will get the stick for any bad publicity.
It about respect for your fellow fans who might want to show it even if you dont.
