I have not seen any football tonight except for an extract showing the Villa game arrangements for the royal tributes. They were impeccably followed apparently and set a difficult precedent for Everton and West Ham fans to follow. No idea if Forest/Fulham fans "behaved" themselves?

Might be bottom of the "popularity" league if our fans disgrace us. Only kidding. I think the anti royal hot air spouted on here is 1. mostly windup kidology and succeeded cos some of us took the bait, and 2. where it was genuine, the most vociferous rebels probably don't go to the match anyway so don't matter. We will be "OK" on Sunday.

Wether you agree or not someone has passed away, show respect and move on ,by god we've got bigger issues in our city children getting shot in their own home our city is a mess at the moment

It is only 7 years ago that any royal in the line of succession could actually marry a catholic and you still cannot be monarch if you are a catholic yourself. I had no real problem with QE2 but I suspect the debate about the monarchy will start in earnest in the near future. Standing up to God Save the King, I don't think so.

The death of a local child is loads different to the death of a monarch to a lot of scousers though mate. I wouldn’t conflate the two myself like.
Ye defo which is what I meant, but as for the Monarchy side pay respect move on having a big ding dong about this subject is miniscule to what is happening in our back Yard
