read again, I said I wished Everton played that way, I did not say they can but it is something they should aspire to achieve.

Our team of the 80's played like that, and if it is down to players then you need to look to Moyes. Is he getting the right players or not. As a manager could he achieve that kind of football. These are some of the questions that arise.

I agree, our football should be better. It's not just down to Moyes, for me it's down to a number of reasons. Players and manager aswell as confidence.

Don't use England as the benchmark though, on the whole they are not a very good team to watch.

A handful of them and who come on in the 2nd half will be in the 1st team by 2010.

Lampard, Barry, Ferdinand, Terry, Heskey, Gerrard, will all be hitting or over 30 by the world cup. Experience is great but we'll get done for pace big time, especially against a Spain, Portugal, Argentina or Brazil who's teams average age will be 25.

You're joking, right?

We did before everybody got hurt last year.

Oh and Carrick is class. That 18M doesn't look too bad either given that that's what Spurs paid for Bentley. Spurs also haven't been the same without him.
