Very weird situation this, for all parties concerned.

He is not going to be first choice at either club, so he best get himself a nice inflatable to sit on this season.

I would like to see him fight for his place, but looks like Koeman doesn't fancy him or he would not have let him go last season.

If Ramirez comes, he would love Geri to be here as well. That much is obvious.I think Koeman is doing very well at Everton, but disagree with him about presumably getting shut of Geri. If Geri could singlehandedly turn four games in our favour in a league season, he would be worth keeping. We need game changers.

I know he had a purple patch when he got a few assists but they were pretty much all against bottom half opposition. I don't recall him ever having a good game against decent opposition (apart from a 20 minute cameo in the Derby) and he invariably goes missing against a half decent full back with pace. His best moments look great but his passing, concentration, tracking back and finishing are way below standard. I don't think he has the mentality to be a top player. He makes too many basic mistakes and doesn't have the stamina to play 90 minutes.

Arsenal away what a goal to make it 1-1!

Martinez benched him when Del was in the form of his life. He had been playing amazing prior to that, being second in the league for assists despite having played half as many minutes as every other player on the list.

Martinez rested him for one match and in that match Lennon had a blinder, after that he barely got a sniff. Him getting dropped had little to do with Dels performance levels in matches.

Yeah i know that it was directed at Davek sarcastically because the sun shines out of martinez as* as far as hes concerned.

The only creative player out of our entire squad and the entire list of linked players. In terms of creative output he's just the level below Fabregas, De Bruyne, Hazard etc., and only 23 years old.

We've been getting by with no creativity in the squad because Lukaku puts away just about every chance. If we lose Lukaku and don't fix that then we're effed, our attack will be toothless.

Gerry will be here for pre season for sure. When Mr Barcelona himself makes negative comments about his quality, he certainly won't be returning to Barca

He's a limited winger, but has shown signs playing in and around a big striker. Shame that we never really tried him in the central role of a 5-3-1-1 where he could have buzzed in and around Lukaku.

He is the perfect impact player for the bench, but would he start in a Koeman-run Everton team? I think he would be a very good compliment to Holgate who rarely ventures forward anyway, but Coleman and Kenny would surely suffer from his inclusion. If his finishing wasn't poor, he would be a viable option up top. So where does this leave him? I don't know... I like the guy. He has some great qualities, but there is something that is missing with him in terms of mentality and fitness. I can't see him surviving here unless Koeman caters to him as he did Rom (he won't).
