Yes me too, as an impact sub and play cup and Europa games, he would get a fair bit of game time. He has got that special something that no other player in our has, yes he has his weaknesses but his skill is up there with the best.

Shame games last longer than 60 minutes and you need to be fit in the premier league, otherwise he could be decent.

He can at least do a job in the last 30 minutes when we need a goal or as a rotation option in Europe/cup games. He's got more vision and ability to create opportunities than anyone else in our squad.

Yes 30th June 2017. Barca can do what they want then and so can we. But if they buy him back before and sell him then we get 50% of any profit and if they loan him out then there are other agreed penalties. There is probably one against us if he refuses as well.

Didn't he just also become a father? Perhaps Deulofeu is maturing and taking his craft seriously. As much as we are familiar with his strengths and weaknesses (namely conditioning and strength), he is still relatively young (I mean he's still with U21's) and has room to grow and get stronger/better

Perhaps fatherhood, going to Milan and getting a taste for everyday football has lit a fire under him. He is Spain's U21's Captain after all.

The deal was set heavily in our favour to stop them doing just that. Not sure how long until they can sell but i think tje whole agreement was 4 years.
