Italian football is slow. He played 23 mins tonight.
 
He did well tonight as impact sub but his no messi :-( He huffed and puffed, got penalty and scored but not lots of work ethic when Spain without ball
 
If he can prove he can be a regular in a side for more than 5 games on the bounce consistently, he may get another chance.
 

Why are people acting like he's an ex-player? It's a loan with no obligation to buy. If Ron wants him only Barca can get him and even then he has to stay in their first team squad a full season so he'd need convincing he'd get a game.

As talented as he is, geri doesn't possess the work ethic or consistency to be a regular starter under koeman. The Sevilla coach at the time obviously thought the same. However do I think he would be a better impact player off the bench then Lennon, then the answer is yes.

I thought a player could transfer to 3 different clubs in a season so why would he be at Barca for the year? Barca would buy him back for £10m and sell him straight to Milan for a profit.

Played in the middle v Spurs 1st game of the season. Missed a couple of chances but, involved in the goal so..
There's a bloody good player in there, just wish he wasn't playing well now because Barca still have one more buy back option on him.
They'll buy him back and sell for profit.
