Gerard Deulofeu

Give him a full season there then judge. Not a prem player. Needs more than a stepover ...a real player needs pace for 90 mins in this new everton era. Not knocking del. A great player no doubt, with Koeman though you need to work hard first and foremost...Del dont do dat !!

Do you forget how brilliant he was before the s***e run (in which he barely played)? He had nothing to do with our awful form.

He's comfortably our best winger by some distance. We would be so much better if we had Geri in the team currently. The current ones aren't exactly "winners" by the way they're playing.

Nah he's the complete opposite of what we need. Glad he's gone and I back Ronald 100% on this. Hopefully we get a good fee.

Doesn't run around enough though lads. Hate those tarts who fanny out of those good old-fashioned tackles. Doesn't track back though lads. Inconsistent lads. Ha, what an absolute joke.

Whoever made the decision to get rid of Geri instead of Mirallas deserves a sacking. This is going to come back and massively bite us in the arse.

They're both surplus. Both have ego's bigger than their ability. Good riddance to the pair of them.

Rather keep him and kev, better to get rid of lennon.

He seems to be doing well at Milan.

Hopefully he will be back here in the summer and ready to help take us to the next level.

If we are ever going to progress to the top four and make a name on the European stage, Gerald Deulofeu is the type of player we need in the team.

We need artists as well as artisans....we need inspiration as well as perspiration.

Del has the potential to be one of Europe's top players and I hope EFC is in a position to take advantage of it ;)

Forza Del

I have mixed feelings about him. He was useful, but he was really a one trick pony. It was a good trick, but better teams knew what he was about and took advantage of it. Too predictable. Wicked crosses, but we should be able to do better.

Fans need to wise up and expect better. Stop misplacing your trust in flashy no marks. Have some ambition and demand better. This kid is nowhere near good enough.
"Expect better."

Imagine Bolasie going to Milan and having the impact Deulofeu has had? No, neither can I.

We've let go a much better player than the one £27M was flushed down the toilet on.

Great decision.

The fella had contributed the square root of FA for over a year. Claims he's a striker and goes over a year without a goal. He's an absolute myth.

He has had a fairly good impact so far and posted some decent stats but if we wanted proof that a run in the first team would have seen him show his worth then I dont think he has done enough yet IMO, sorry. Ive watched a fair bit of him at Milan now.

I like Del and hope it works out at Everton but the more I watch the more I am having to admit to myself that he just doesnt have the mental side of the game at all. He seems a bit dumb really. He was playing in a huge game last night, away to Juve and he was still wasting energy in waving his arms about and moaning at everybody around him and regularly running into defenders to waste the little bit of possession Milan had near the end. Surely somebody can get through to him at some point and sort his head out as he has the technical side there.

I'd prefer us to be buying/using players more along the lines of Del rather than Bolasie who I wish we hadnt bought, but am having to admit now Del wont make it with us and I'd be surprised if he manages to really show his quality for any decent length of time unless the penny drops when he is older and at a smaller club.

He assists and scores. If he's in and out of the game in between then so what?

There is a growing mentality amongst Everton supporters it seems (parroting the Dutchman in the Dugout, no doubt) that hard work is the objective. It's not.
