Some people hold on to a perception of a player regardless of whether it's still true (ie. Barkley being overweight, Del not coming back on defence).

Not against him, I like him but if he isn't wanted by the manager then not a lot can be said about him. Best he is somewhere else and playing and I hope we get a stupid fee for him in the summer.

Deulofeu has all the technical attributes to be a top player, if he works on fitness and to stop crying out after every tackle the sky could be the limit.

If he had a future here then he wouldn't be on loan in Italy. He is seen as deadwood by Koeman, he is shipping out who he doesn't want and the loan players will be told to get long term deals in the summer.

If he was keen for game time to bring him back in I'd have thought a loan to another Prem side would be better. Might harm sides around us and won't have to adjust back next season.

What worries me is that Everton have never developed a talent except Rooney in which any football club could have done!!! We legged Mustafi!!! John Ruddy was another who would have made it!! although Stones coleman and baines have achieved at Everton

You could say the opposite is true with Del too tho, people still treat him like a top player for a few moments of brilliance.
