If he does go to Italy he could do very well - shame it hasn't worked for him here, but he's just been far too inconsistent for us.

For whatever reason he hasn't had a consistent run in the team since he joined and has looked pure class on the rare occasions he's gotten 5+ starts on the trot.

MOTM against Watford, by far, which had most thinking he'd improved his stamina issues, considered the main reason for his lack of regular game time. Maybe he's given up on an Everton career after not even getting off the bench last week and voiced his disapproval?

Enigma.

Would you voice your opinion if Valencia and Lennon were getting picked before you?

Still hasn't had a manager who plays him regularly after playing under at least 4. Quality's there for all to see but rarely gets the chance to show it - maybe 3 times so far he's played 5+ games in a row?

What a shame. When he arrived and especially when he came back I was thrilled.....a real talent for us. However it is what it is.

I seem to recall this happening with The Yak as well.

He had a great game one day and scored the winner but we never saw him in an Everton shirt again.

It is ridiculous that Gerald never stepped on to the pitch for us again after his great display at Watford.

As many others have posted, if you drew up a list of ten players you would like to see shipped out in January, Del would be 11th on the list.

He wouldn't be very good. The PL is the best and hardest league, not only of football, but ANY sport in the world.
Messi is waaaay too fragile to make it in the English Premier League. Ronaldo did OK, but he's a bigger bloke and even then, Man U got rid of him when they got a decent offer.

You're right, the world's best player would really struggle against Charlie Adam, Michael Dawson and Chris Brunt. Just like Modric, Silva and Hazard have.
