Don't think it's just the pressing mate.

He just hasn't been productive on the pitch. Bolasie gets slated on here, yet while fit he always created chances for teammates - so does Barkley in fairness.

Del is class at running down the wing really quickly, but for some reason seems to have forgotten how to get the ball into the box - despite his obvious quality.

That's fair, but half a season of poor form - in which he has started 4 games and not allowed to build up any sort of regular minutes - is an incredibly tiny thing to sling him out of the club for. Which is why I'm believing he's being loaned with a view to come back into the side over the summer ;)

I don't think there's any question over his professional approach. He doesn't go out boozing, he integrates well with the community and is a genuinely nice lad.

His attitude on the pitch - not off it - is the problem, or rather the application of the clear talent that he has.
That's quite right mate I should have made that a bit more clear. I really hope he comes good

Id give up on Del lads, personly I dont rate him but I think its pretty clear neither does Koeman, be suprised if we dont sell him in Jan.

The odd flash of brilliance here and there but on the whole does nothing, the odd cross into the goalies arms. We can't accommodate players who don't work hard, he's clearly not showing the right signs in training or he would get more of a look in. Gutted he's not fulfilling his potential but he seems the type to just expect to all fall into place instead of working for it. If you look at someone at Ronald you can see he works tirelessly on his game and pushes himself, Del just doesn't seem to have that to him.
