People have such a hard time with the idea of letting him go because it's only a year ago he was our best creative player and the players who have replaced him haven't exactly been ripping up trees since then.

If he'd lost his place to say a Yarmelenko type signing and we'd been boss ever since then people would be a lot more comfortable letting what is a essentially a very talented but very inconsistent young player go.

It doesn't feel like that to many. It feels like we're letting one of our best players go for not very much because he's in the middle of a bad run and his replacements aren't as good.

If we're flush with new attackers and playing well in 12 months nobody will miss him.

Another one who is hopelessly overrated on here. We can replace with better.

He certainly not improved after that intial impact he had. Outstanding outfeild players have impact anywhere, particular the position he fills he should be able to perform anywhere from midfield. Just not stronger enough or has the work rate for the Premiership.
