Gerard Deulofeu

I don't think Deulofeu is unfit, but players like him and Lennon play in sprints, very fast ones usually, that wear the body out a bit more than usual. If either of them are putting in the shift they should be, they won't be on the field for the full 90 minutes
Problem with that is Lennon runs around all game whereas it looks like Deulofeu is completely winded after 20minutes.

He had a very slow start against Watford where he was probably our worst player,if he repeats that then the rs could get a quick start.

I hope he starts tonight though, Milner won't cope with his pace.

I would keep Lennon on in front of Kev but IMO Del should be starting wide right.

This game is made for him.

Personally wouldn't start with any of them...Would have a midfield of Barry, Gana, McCarthy and Barkley with Valencia up top with Rom.
Win the battles in midfield and we win tonight

It would be grossly unfair to leave out McCarthy, it would be almost as bad to move him to a position in which he is just not comfortable.

I think the team will stay the same as for Arsenal with Funes Mori in for Jagielka as the only change.
The longer e can keep the games tight and not concede, the better.
I think Del coming in for the last twenty minutes could be hugely effective.
