Gerard Deulofeu - Once a Blue, always a Blue

The amount of fantasizing, stalking, messaging and fawning over this young boy makes me wonder how most of you aren't sharing a room with Rolf Harris.

Deulofeu, 19/20 in a new league and despite having a bad hamstring injury midseason just as he hit peak form got 3 goals and 4 assists in 900mins of league football

Lennon 27/28 having played in the league his entire life with no injury 2 gaols 1 assist in 1071 mins according to transfer market.
Even at Sevilla his stats where good. That's what almost all top class players are like at his age. Bloody frustrating most of the time but still post good stats, if he becomes consistent then we could have some player. Big if and we have to give him time. Along with Barkley and Rom, they aren't the finished product and we have to show patience.

The deal to bring Gerard Deulofeu to Everton from Barcelona has been described as far from done by a Catalan newspaper today.

British media – spurred on by Twitter rumours – had said that Deulofeu could sign as early as last Friday, but as Friday came and went, it seemed like “by Friday” really was becoming the new “48 hours” in Everton transfer rumour sagas.

The Catalan media now claim that although the deal has been in the pipeline for a month now, it is still far from being completed, and that the deal could be worth a lot more than the £3m quoted last week.

With social media now in full flow with rumours about him signing “imminently” we reckon it could be closer to the end of the month than last week.

The positive we can take from this, is that at least the ball is rolling, however slowly.

By Friday......

They meant next Friday....
