Ive always said the beauty of what Moyes has built isnt a team but a club, the structures he has put in place top to bottom mean that we are covered for the next five years anyway. Barcley, Rodwell are top drawer future stars. Some of the others maybe just a tier below could also make it, Baxter, Duffy, Garbutt, Gueye, Femi. Hallem Hope is going to be a beast mark my words this lad is going to make Andy Carroll look like Brett Angel.

The concern of course is always Moyes the club is utterly dependent on him and without him we will soon be in decline again - this is always my worry.

Disagree. Moyes isn't bigger than the Club. Some argue he is beginning to impede the club. Good manager and as good as we can get given current circumstances. Not, imo, great.

Equally i would disagree, the clubs financial position is heavily dependent on Moyes abilites to spot talent, coach it and get the best out it. Meaning extra revenue, in term of investing and selling on talent, gaurented prem income, higher prize money/inclusive of cup runs and strong possibility of European qualification/European runs and associated commercial spin offs.

Many may disagree, but im preety certain the club need Moyes rather then Moyes needs the club, its not a position i think is healthy but i still beleive it to be the case. Hence my banging on for the need for a new stadium and organic revenue for beards.

Your right im sure it has nothing to do with him.

I never said that, but Moyes doesn't properly have an influence on the younger players until they are 16-17, by which time alot of effort has been put in by coaches helping these players develop as footballers. It's a team game really, players will continue to come through whether Moyes is here or not.

What he does have is a good eye for knowing when a young player is ready or not, he also gives them a chance, which isn't always the case with certain managers. In this area he deserves alot of praise.

Im not sure mate, the youth coaches are essentialy his staff so imagine he has an input in to the coaching and player development etc the structures and context in which the local talent develops, for example i cant see Hallem Hope, Barkcley etc not being untouched by Moyes's expiertise at present im sure he has had an influence on thier careers either directly or indirectly as im sure he has with the Rodwells, Baxters and Rooneys.

Additionaly i am pretty sure the supplemamenting of the intake of local talent with astute signings, is pretty much down to his assessments, the likes of Femi, Gosling, Da Silva, Gueye, Coleman, Garbutt, Hammer, Mustafi.

Ray Hall has been here since 1991, and we've brought through a number of decent/good young players during that time. I don't even think the youth teams and first team where all that close until we moved to Finch Farm. They didn't train with Moyes unless they where decent player (Rooney, Vaughan) at 16-17. That's not to say he doesn't have any impact whatsoever, but most of the hard work is done by the youth coaches, he'd say that himself.

Ofcourse he's had an impact, they aspire to play in his team, and he has a record of giving youngsters a chance, and improving them when in the later development years.

Do you not think he asses the youth teams constantly, speaks to the coaches about aspects of individual games he wants to see an improvement in etc. I would be surprised if he didnt have a major input into structures of the academy, standards, footballing ethos, discpline, etc. Your speaking of local talent i assume, the likes of Guyeye, Mustafi, Garbutt etc i would assume Moyes scouted and gave his approvel to be brought to the club.

Obviously he cant be every where at once and a certain level of delegation is needed and the ability of our youth coaches is there for all to see, but i think he has more of an imput into the clubs structures and young player development then you give him credit for.
