John Collins is up there with my all time let downs. Id forgotten about Stephen Hughes too, day ruined before 8 o'clock.

Me too - for years on FM I had signed Speed and Collins and was well chuffed when fantasy became reality - what a let down that was.

I also wonder how good Danny Williamson would have gone on to be if it had not been for that foot injury. In the 17 games he played for us, he was showing real promise from what I remember.

A bit hatsh looking back but I'd say Tony Cottee, he was a bit disappointing at that time, but I suppose that was on the back of the club achieving so much prior to his arrival.
