Just noticed:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phil_Neville

During the 97-98 season Neville pitched a prank style TV show to MTV executives. The show was to be called Nev'd. In 2003 Punk'd was launched causing outrage in the Neville household. After encouragement from brother Gary, Phil sued MTV and Ashton Kutcher for £430 million. The lawsuit is still pending

:huh::blink: :o :lol:

It wasn't me.

Robbie Fowler play's down under.

Absolute gobsite of a person...

BUT - he was the best English right back this country has seen for nearly 20 years...and there's still nobody AS good as he was for England today.

You also cant knock how loyal he was for his club and how much he loved it...and how he wound up the kopites blissfully.

G.Neville Person - ********.
G. Neville Footballer - Great right back, best in the country, one of the best in Europe, loyal player.

Also a sign you're getting older when you can remember him going through as a kid to retirement. He's also won 8 league titles! Christ!

Well I always wondered how the hell Neville used to get into the Man Utd team, He was so overated it was unbelievable.

The only thing he could do was whip a cracking ball into the box but other than that he was pretty average and always liable to mistakes.

Glad he is gone, snide. gobby and turned vicious when he wasn'y playimng well. I was actually enjoying seeing him get f**ked by average wingers this season. I just hope he doesn't become a pundit

be careful what you wish for - you might end up with another r/s in the media on sky!

he served his club and country really well and when the media crossed the line with the england hysteria ha had the balls to stand up to them. it was clear from his performances this season he was finished. i would have thought he was in line for a united coaching role.

lets be honest him or carragher (in a year or two) as a sky pundit? there is no contest.
