And Gaz is very fit for his age. The good thing is that he is always available for selection. We can't rely on McCarthy and Besic so it looks like we will bring another DM/CM in. Hopefully.

1m apparently. it would free up big wages which is the only real bonus but thats assuming we use for new players.

A tremendous professional. I remember when he was offered a 3 year deal when we signed him, there was much gnashing of teeth from the forum 'experts' about the length of contract, and now 4 years later he's about to sign a 2 year deal with another PL club.

I'd rather keep hold of him than McCarthy or Besic*****, but when a player costs you nothing & gives you so much, it's the right thing to not stand in their way.
