Interested to know what wages we are paying him, but genuinely puzzled by the amount of stick that he's been getting from Everton fans. The guy's been a regular fixture in the City side in the last 4 years and has over 50 England caps, I think that speaks for itself.

Although I agree with him being quality, Phil Neville has pretty much made any judgement of a players quality on the basis of medals and england caps null and void.

Barry will be good for us providing he is on his toes for the WC. People worrying about losing some physical presence in the middle as well but Barry can actually bang a bit in there. We'll be fine.

And he's a completely different calibre of player to Gibson as well mate. With city he's a victim of the system under Pelligrini. If Mancini was still in charge he would still be in and around the team. RM certainly rated him over Javi Garcia, and can you imagine the Jizz-fest if we signed him on loan?
