Yes once per week with miracle grow water first then feed straight away ........

Joey, bought some Miracle grow today. It has to be mixed in a watering can. Would you still water the plants first before adding a bit of the mix to the pots?

NO - water the plants first - then add a heaped teaspoon full to you gallon can & then give them a good fill up with that solution if you put it on dry you will burn the roots or leaves of your plants, there should be a measuring spoon plastic inside the box if not a heaped tea spoon mixed well with a cane in a gallon can will be just right

Joey, when I said the ‘mix’ I meant the contents of the watering can (the solution) not the chemical itself. All is good.

Thank goodness for that I have known people to put the stuff in the pots direct though hence my concerns.....they killed their planted pots .......

How big is the branch plus plums? If the plums are pig pick them and put them in a bowl on a sunny windowsill if the branch is to big .... no chance - if it is small put it in a vase of water out of the sun hoping the plums get bigger.....
Or Hold your plums

Just put them in a sunny window then hold your plums mate
50 mile gales towards the week too......
